War am Anfang recht skeptisch aufgrund vieler grenzwertiger Beurteilungen dieses Autovermieters im Internet. Meine persönliche Erfahrung mit Wheego ist jedoch sehr positiv. Es war nicht ganz einfach deren Schalter im Terminal 1 des FRA zu finden, zumal in meinen Unterlagen der Terminal 2 zur Abholung angegeben war. Kam dadurch später als vereinbart zu deren Schalter, ohne dass es Folgen hatte. Schlüsselübergabe erfolgte schnell und kompetent mit einer Wegbeschreibung (mit Fotos) zum Stellplatz. Fahrzeug hatte nur die bereits gelisteten Vorschäden und war sauber und ordentlich. Kleiner Wermuthstropfen, die Seiten waren mit großer Wheego-Werbung geschmückt. Allerdings gestaltet sich damit das Auffinden des Fahrzeugs auf großen Parkplätzen leichter:-) Abgabe nach 2 Monaten Mietdauer war ebenfalls unproblematisch. Auto auf freien Stellplatz im Wheego-Bereich abstellen und Schlüssel stwcken lassen. Kaution war nach 2 weiteren Tagen zurücküberwiesen. Basierend auf meine eigene Erfahrung kann ich Wheego nur empfehlen und werde mich auch im Weiteren wieder an sie wenden.

Julia and Jackie were great! They rrally helped me out after having a very bad experience with another agency (Buchfinder/Eurocar). They are so nice to me and even let me get the car about 25 minutes from the reservation time. I almost always deal with Wheego since the have the low prices. However, this time that I tried to go with
another company, I was wrong. I should always go with Wheego and so should you.

Another thing is that they have free coffee.

Finally, I think Juliet and Jacky apps get promoted.

Hubert Terstappen is one of the leading personalities in the mobility industry. He started his own car rental business back in 1987 and expanded throughout Germany. After the merger with Buchbinder, Hubert Terstappen became Managing Director of the Group and developed the company into the fourth-largest mobility provider in Germany and the market leader in Austria with over 30,000 vehicles at 165 locations. The entrepreneur also founded the international franchise system Global Rent a Car and expanded the brand into 20 countries worldwide. Following the successful sale of the Buchbinder Group to Europcar, he was responsible for the integration into the Europcar Mobility Group and was appointed Managing Director of Europcar in Germany. He left the company in 2020 and founded the VCC VENTURES Group and the associated companies share-tec GmbH, mobi-tec GmbH and PARKsmart. In the first financial year, Hubert Terstappen and the wheego team achieved all planned milestones. The Share, Rent, Auto Abo and Car Sales products were successfully launched, the wheego-mobility.com website and the wheego app (iOS and Android) were launched and the first wheego Mobility Stores were opened in Berlin, Hamburg, Vienna and other major cities. The wheego franchise partner program also got off to a very successful start. More than 20 international partners have already joined the wheego franchise system and have started to operate under the wheego brand in addition to the two Group countries Germany and Austria.
